We’ve had so many questions about us stocking decaf tea, so here it is! This smooth, slightly floral black tea is easy to drink, and without any caffeine! There’s no astringency* in this tea, and we found it very pleasant to drink black.
Note: decaffeinated black teas are naturally lighter in taste in comparison to standard black teas, so if you’re after a strong bold tea, this one might not be for you. *Astringency: Slight acidity, or bitterness of taste or smell.
Ingredients: Decaf Black Tea Origin: India Flavour Profile:Smooth, Slightly Sweet, Slightly Floral, Light Flavour Caffeine:Free Brewing Guide/ Directions of use: 3-5g, 90- 95°c, 5+ minutes We would recommend brewing for a longer time period, until you reach the flavour profile you like.
The Story
A premium black tea with full leaves that have been decaffeinated using natural carbon dioxide. This method preserves the tea's health benefits. By pressurising the tea leaves with CO2, it effectively removes small caffeine molecules, ensuring a light black tea experience that's perfect for those who prefer to enjoy tea without the stimulating effects of caffeine.
Pick-up from our South Nowra warehouse is available 9 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Contact 1800 355 182 or email info@teajourneys.com.au to arrange.
How long does your tea stay fresh?
Short answer. It depends on the tea and how it is stored.
To keep your teas fresh, always store them well-sealed in a cool, dry, and dark place and generally as a guideline we recommend consuming within 3 years of purchase.

Game changer
I’ve never understood our camping buddies not liking Lapsang Souchong. After all they all say how much they like getting home and finding all there clothes smell of smoke.
Recently introduced Golden Goose into the mix and it captured some interest. There is hope for them yet.

I am really enjoying my sticky chai….. especially the ginger flavour which gives me the taste I like to identify.
I often use my diffuser in a mug rather than the infusion bottle and that works well if I just want a mug of chai just for myself.
I have samples to try and I want to try a chilled chai as well. I’m on a ‘tea adventure’
