Thank you for shopping with Tea Journeys. We are passionate about tea and care about our customers whom support us. We go to ensuring tea gets to you in the same shape that it leaves our warehouse. We import all our products from the best plantations across Asia. Our teas are then all stored in temperature controlled environments here in our Australia warehouse.
Standard packing and orders for tea are based on a minimum order to be eligible for FREE freight Consult our FAQ page if unsure. The customer’s order is packed and delivered in mostly resealable bags (for optimum quality to retain the freshness of the product) of course there are a few variants that do not have "ripper zippers" or "zip seals" depending on product SKU. Any of our 30-500 gram sachet tea products will be packed using a variant of our bio seal bags using a heat-seal lock.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within a 24 hour period. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. Generally all orders received by email or phone by 9 AM on any business day, can be dispatched the same day. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may also be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. The courier times Tea Journeys will never be in control of. Estimated times of delivery can vary. We encourage our customers to utilise tracking codes that are sent to each and every customer upon placing an order. If we are ever made aware of any significant delays in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Freight is not factored into the cost of the products. We charge a flat rate as follows:

We offer free freight on all orders with a minimum purchase of $70 in any single invoice.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
Once your order has been received, you will receive a confirmation email. Followed by an email containing your tracking numbers within 24 hours of shipment, the tracking number will be active within 24 hours after dispatching your parcel.
International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside of Australia. We have current standing orders to different countries. If you would like to enquire for orders travelling outside of Australia. Please send your enquiry to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Parcels returned to Tea Journeys by post office
If for any reason your order is sent back to our offices by Australia Post, for example you gave us an incorrect address or failed to collect your parcel, you will have to pay to have your parcel re-sent.
Authority to leave
Usually if you are not home to receive your order Australia Post will leave your order at the nearest post shop for collection and a card will be left in your letterbox. If you have given permission for an item to be left if your premises is unattended we can not be held responsible for lost or missing items. It is up to the judgement of Australia Post as to whether or not your parcel will be left unattended even when authority to leave is granted.
You may return all new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a refund or store credit (shipping costs are non-refundable). We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.) otherwise it is your responsibility to organise return shipping.
You should expect to receive your refund within 2 weeks of returning your item, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.

You can exchange all new, unopened products within 14 days of delivery. It is your responsibility to organise return shipping to us and to also pay shipping costs of the exchanged item back out to you.
If you live in Sydney you can choose to pick up your order from our Tea Tasting Room in Northbridge. Just place your order online and choose the “pick up” option at the shipping stage of checkout. This will save you time and money! We will email you when your order is ready to pick up with further instructions, this will be within 24hrs (Mon-Fri, Ex. Public Holidays) (please note that our office is only for pickup orders placed online, we cannot take orders in person) Orders not collected after 2 months will be cancelled and the order refunded minus a $10 restocking fee.
