Dianhong has all the positive attributes of a fragrant black tea with the resounding earthy qualities of a tea grown out of particularly abundant and fertile soils from South-West China.
Ingredients: Black Tea Origin: Simao, Yunnan Flavour Profile: Malty, Woody, Smoky, Aromatic, Slightly Sweet, Smooth, Earthy, Bold Caffeine:Moderate Brewing Guide/ Directions of use: 3-5g, 90- 95°c, 5+ minutes We would recommend brewing for a longer time period, until you reach the flavour profile you like.

The Story
"Dianhong" refers to a type of black tea that originates from the Yunnan province in southwestern China. Yunnan is known for its rich tea culture and the cultivation of tea plants, particularly those used in the production of Dianhong black tea. Our Dianhong tea is produced at higher elevations, contributing to its unique characteristics, refined and nuanced flavour profile. The cultivation and production of Dianhong tea contributes to the economic well-being of the region and is an important part of Yunnan's tea heritage and plays a role in local customs and traditions.

Short answer. It depends on the tea and how it is stored.
To keep your teas fresh, always store them well-sealed in a cool, dry, and dark place and generally as a guideline we recommend consuming within 3 years of purchase.
How much caffeine is there in a cup of tea?
The caffeine content of tea varies depending on factors like water temperature and steeping time. On average:
Black tea: 40-70 mg per cup
Green tea: 20-45 mg per cup
Oolong tea: 30-50 mg per cup
White tea: 15-30 mg per cup
Yellow tea: 30-50 mg per cup
Herbal: 0 mg (naturally caffeine-free)

I am really enjoying my sticky chai….. especially the ginger flavour which gives me the taste I like to identify.
I often use my diffuser in a mug rather than the infusion bottle and that works well if I just want a mug of chai just for myself.
I have samples to try and I want to try a chilled chai as well. I’m on a ‘tea adventure’
