Home grown Sencha, this Australian Genmaicha offers a smooth, nutty finish that combines the fresh taste of sencha green tea and the toasted notes of roasted rice. The addition of matcha into this flavourful tea enhances its body, depth of flavour, and results in a cloudy golden-green appearance. It makes an excellent cold brew too!
Ingredients: Australian Grown Green Tea Leaves, Roasted Rice, Matcha Powder Origin: Victoria, Australia Flavour Profile: Grassy, Vegetal, Slightly Sweet, Nutty Caffeine: Moderate Brewing Guide/ Directions of use: 3-5g, 70- 80°c, 5+ minutes We would recommend brewing for a longer time period, until you reach the flavour profile you like.

The Story
Sencha is said to have originated in the early 18th century during the Edo period in Japan. Prior to the popularity of sencha, the common method of preparing tea in Japan was to steam the tea leaves. Sencha introduced the process of pan-frying or steaming the leaves, a method that preserved the tea's vibrant green colour. It is known grassy flavor with a hint of sweetness. It has a balanced profile that is both refreshing and invigorating, and can be enjoyed hot and cold.

Peppermint Tea at IPAC Wollongong – A Surprising Delight
I had a cup of peppermint tea at IPAC Wollongong in the late afternoon, just before a show. Since I had to drive home afterwards, I skipped the tempting bubbly drinks and went for something refreshing and light. The peppermint tea was the perfect choice.
Even though it came in a tea bag, the flavour was incredibly full and vibrant — far beyond what I expected. Curious, I checked the tea bag in the pot and was pleasantly surprised to see it packed with real peppermint leaves.
The cup truly refreshed me and lifted my mood. I felt more awake and relaxed, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A simple cup of peppermint tea turned out to be the perfect pre-show companion.
