Honey Phoenix Oolong, often referred to as "Mi Lan Xiang" in Mandarin, is a type of Dancong Oolong tea that is known for its unique honey-like sweetness and floral aroma. Honey Phoenix Oolong comes from Phoenix Mountain (Fenghuang Shan) in the Guangdong province of China. The area is renowned for producing Dancong Oolong teas, which are famous for their individual and distinct aromatic profiles.
Dancong Oolongs are often made from single bush varietals, meaning each tea plant may produce leaves with unique flavour characteristics. I could say that I like my tea deep and full bodied with a touch of Irish and that would be correct. This tea was for my hubby. Irish breakfast is a difficult tea to find and so glad tea journeys have it. It’s a rich strong full bodied tea. Perfect for a wake up cuppa for breakfast. Again thanks tea journeys for getting it to me before Christmas. Awesome effort.
