A delicious, smooth, easy drinking tea with a savoury nutty and slightly umami character. Some marine qualities will creep in at the finish which interestingly often distinguishes Korean and Japanese greens from their Chinese counterparts which happens as a result of the metabolic process with the absence of photosynthesis in the months prior to harvesting. This tea is amazing made as both hot and cold infusions.

Brewing Guide/ Directions of use:
3-5g, 70- 80°c, 5+ minutes

The Story

The term "sencha" specifically refers to a style of Japanese green tea, and it is not traditionally associated with Korean tea. However, South Korea has its own rich tradition of producing green teas with unique characteristics. When exploring Korean green teas, it's essential to appreciate them for their unique qualities. When we tried this Korean Sencha, we just couldn’t get enough. It has an amazing bright green colour and very enjoyable flavour profile. We were even more impressed when we drank it ice cold. Highly recommended this one for you green & sencha tea lovers out there!
