Pro-Tips for Hot & Iced Tea

Essential Equipment

For best results, use a temperature controlled kettle, a quality teapot/ infuser, and fresh filtered water. A timer and a tea scale will help you achieve consistency.

Brewing & Storage Tips

Don't Over steep: This is the main cause of bitterness. Use a timer!
Multiple Infusions: High quality pu'er, green, oolong, black and white teas can be steeped multiple times.
Storage: Keep tea in airtight containers away from light, heat, and moisture.

Troubleshooting

Tea is Bitter: Try lowering the water temperature, reducing the steeping time, or using fewer leaves.
Tea is Weak: Try using more tea leaves instead of steeping for longer, and ensure your water is hot enough.
