The Story
The journey begins with aged black tea, a testament to time's artistry. Harvested from ancient gardens, the leaves have undergone a patient aging process, developing a complexity that weaves the tales of seasons and the passage of time. Dandelion root emerges from the depths of the earth, embodying resilience. Its robust and earthy character brings grounding notes to the blend, reminding drinkers of the strength found in the depths of nature. Mandarin peel, with its vibrant citrus zest, enters the narrative. Sun-kissed and carefully peeled, it adds a bright and uplifting note—a citrus symphony that harmonises with the depth of aged black tea and the earthiness of dandelion root. Peppermint dances into the blend with a cool breeze. Refreshing and invigorating, the peppermint leaves impart a crispness to the composition. Chamomile, with its delicate floral notes, weaves a lullaby into the blend. Carefully gathered blossoms bring a soothing quality, offering a gentle respite within the complexity of flavours.Sour Date introduces a sweet surprise, balancing tartness with a subtle sweetness.Hibiscus petals unfold, painting the cup with a vibrant rouge. The tart and fruity profile of hibiscus complements the sweetness of sour date, creating a dynamic duo that adds both colour and depth to the infusion. Fennel takes the stage for the grand finale. Its anise-like sweetness and herbal essence bring the composition full circle.

Peppermint Tea at IPAC Wollongong – A Surprising Delight
I had a cup of peppermint tea at IPAC Wollongong in the late afternoon, just before a show. Since I had to drive home afterwards, I skipped the tempting bubbly drinks and went for something refreshing and light. The peppermint tea was the perfect choice.
Even though it came in a tea bag, the flavour was incredibly full and vibrant — far beyond what I expected. Curious, I checked the tea bag in the pot and was pleasantly surprised to see it packed with real peppermint leaves.
The cup truly refreshed me and lifted my mood. I felt more awake and relaxed, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A simple cup of peppermint tea turned out to be the perfect pre-show companion.
