The Story
The combination of peppermint and fennel creates a refreshing and flavourful herbal blend that has been enjoyed for its unique taste and potential health benefits. Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) is a hybrid mint that is a cross between watermint and spearmint. It is native to Europe but is now cultivated globally. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a flavourful herb with a mild licorice-like taste. It has been used in culinary traditions around the world and is a common ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine. Short answer. It depends on the tea and how it is stored.
To keep your teas fresh, always store them well-sealed in a cool, dry, and dark place and generally as a guideline we recommend consuming within 3 years of purchase.
How much caffeine is there in a cup of tea?
The caffeine content of tea varies depending on factors like water temperature and steeping time. On average:
Black tea: 40-70 mg per cup
Green tea: 20-45 mg per cup
Oolong tea: 30-50 mg per cup
White tea: 15-30 mg per cup
Yellow tea: 30-50 mg per cup
Herbal: 0 mg (naturally caffeine-free)

Deliciously good
I absolutely love this spicy dandelion chai tea. It’s dense so that I think it’s easier to use. I often add it to my normal herbal teas for a bit of a zing. I love this product as it’s so versatile. Thanks again for getting it to me before Christmas. Much appreciated for the effort.

Deep dark and full bodied
I could say that I like my tea deep and full bodied with a touch of Irish and that would be correct. This tea was for my hubby. Irish breakfast is a difficult tea to find and so glad tea journeys have it. It’s a rich strong full bodied tea. Perfect for a wake up cuppa for breakfast. Again thanks tea journeys for getting it to me before Christmas. Awesome effort.
