The Story
The combination of peppermint and fennel creates a refreshing and flavourful herbal blend that has been enjoyed for its unique taste and potential health benefits. Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) is a hybrid mint that is a cross between watermint and spearmint. It is native to Europe but is now cultivated globally. Short answer. It depends on the tea and how it is stored.
To keep your teas fresh, always store them well-sealed in a cool, dry, and dark place and generally as a guideline we recommend consuming within 3 years of purchase.
How much caffeine is there in a cup of tea?
The caffeine content of tea varies depending on factors like water temperature and steeping time. On average:
Black tea: 40-70 mg per cup
Green tea: 20-45 mg per cup
Oolong tea: 30-50 mg per cup
White tea: 15-30 mg per cup
Yellow tea: 30-50 mg per cup
Herbal: 0 mg (naturally caffeine-free)
