The Story
In the heart of North Queensland, where the sun kisses the Coral Sea and the rainforest breathes with life, a team of tea artisans embarked on a journey to produce Australia's best known Black tea. Why the Wooroonoonan National Park? Its climate, slightly acidic soils and altitude made this the perfect starting point for a new tea estate.
This journey led to the creation of an Australian Breakfast Tea that has spoken to Australian age old habit of drinking “builders black tea”. Indulge in the perfection of this meticulously oxidized black tea, crafted to cater to tea enthusiasts who appreciate the versatility of enjoying it with or without milk. This tea is versatile enough to be enjoyed with a range of breakfast foods we at Tea Journeys recommend the unmistakable simplicity of a tasty piece of sourdough, drizzled with olive oil, vegemite, thick avocado crescents and cottage cheese. We recently tested this on a group of swedish backpackers whom claimed their were never ever going to eat anything else again.
